"Ashem Vohu" is a short but deep prayer/maatra from the Zen Avesta of the Zoroastrian faith. I have given it a contemporary flavour with the music and singing it.
----
aṣ̌əm vohū vahištəm astī
uštā astī uštā ahmāi
hyat̰ aṣ̌āi vahištāi aṣ̌əm
I am told that translations by scholars don’t authentically cover the deeper significance .. but roughly ...
“A proclivity towards a holy life is the best (of all that is) good: it is also happiness. Happy the man who is holy with perfect holiness !”
Wishing everyone good thoughts, good words, good deeds 🙂 Enjoy ...
