Relieve upper back pain with these simple exercises for your rhomboid muscles, specifically the joints where the ribs meet the spine.

The common cause of pain between your shoulders is an irritation to the costo-vertebral joints, located between the rib and the spine. When this joint is irritated, it also irritates the muscles that lie above this joint. This irritation can occur due to muscle strains, poor posture, bone (scoliosis), and joint (arthritis) problems.

These exercises are going to:
1.Mobilize the upper back
2.Lengthening the scapulothoracic joint and traction for the neck
3.Improve flexion and extension in the spine
4.Pulling up and rotating the ribs to stretch the front and back of the shoulders and mobilize the scapulothoracic joint
