1. Fill Donabe 80% full
2. Mix 2 tbs of rice flour with water (add more rice flour if you are seasoning a bigger donabe!)
3. Bring the water to a simmer and turn off the heat.
4. To the hot water, add the rice flour mixture and stir.
5. Allow to sit for 30 minutes, but for the best results, over night!
6. Hand wash and dry before first use.
