How to add online Interest challan or Add Interest challan online at traces website

Note : You can follow the similar process to remove all type of Interest demand received from the traces site as default

Step to add online challan to remove the default of Interest:-

Login to Traces website
Go to “Request for correction under head “Default” option

Fill up the relevant information: Quarter, Financial Year, Form Type, Form No. 24/26/27/27EQ

Correction category: Online and click on submit.

Request number will be generated and will be available to work under head “Track correction request.”

Once request for correction will become “available, we can click on available to start the work or can continue work by clicking on available/ in progress.

Then fill up the valid KYC information and click on proceed.

Then select the type of correction “Add challan to statement and click on view details

Add challan - Click on challan no. which wanted to add for removing the default of Interest and save challan details after making change as per your requirement. You can rearrange the challan information as per your need. Challan will be highlighted as yellow after receiving command of save.

Thereafter click on submit correction statement - Confirm - Correction ready for submission - View Statement -Submit for processing.

15 digits token no will be generated. This can be used to track the status of submitted correction request from head “default”

Immediately status will show submitted to ITD and after the gap of 24-48 hours working hours it will be changed as Proceed without default or rejected or accepted.

Remember guys default will be removed when we get the status as accepted or proceed without default.
