Ingredients:

200 grams raw rice (about 1 cup)
10 cashew nuts, split in 2

Tempering
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon black mustard seeds
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 tablespoon black gram (urad dal), husked
2 teaspoon Bengal gram (chana dal), husked
1 dried red chilli
2 green chillies, slit in half and deseeded
¼ teaspoon asafoetida powder
12 curry leaves
1 piece ginger, about 1-inch in length, finely chopped
1½ teaspoons salt or to taste
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
2 tablespoons lemon juice or lime juice

1 tablespoon coriander leaves, chopped, to garnish
