For anyone who wasn't yet aware, in last night's Buffalo Sabres vs Columbus Blue Jackets game, Tage Thompson officially let the world know who he is. The man scored 6 points, 4 goals in just the first period alone and finished the night with 5 before all was said and done. He tied the all time NHL record for goals scored in a period and also tied the franchise record for goals scored in a game tying Dave Andreychuk's record from 1986.
