Judy Jenner is a master-level court-certified Spanish interpreter and a court-registered German interpreter in Nevada, where she also teaches simultaneous interpretation for the University of Nevada Las Vegas-Continuing Education’s Certificate for Legal Interpreting program.
Judy is a certified California Spanish court interpreter, and serves as one of the spokespersons of the American Translators Association. She spearheaded one of America’s first Spanish-language travel sites, the Spanish-language version of VEGAS.com. She writes the monthly Entrepreneurial Linguist column for the American Translators Association’s Chronicle and contributes to the Institute of Translation and Interpreting’s Bulletin.
Her book, “The Entrepreneurial Linguist: The Business-School Approach to Freelance Translation,” which she co-authored with her twin sister, is required reading at several translation programs around the world and has sold more than 7,500 copies.
