Pork belly cooked with bean curd knots/ tofu skin knots using fermented bean curd. It's a home recipe from my mum, who I haven't seen for a long while. Bean curd knots absorb the sauce made from dark soy sauce & fermented tofu.
It's a classic Chinese comfort food, goes perfect with a bowl of warm rice. Soak the tofu knots in warm water before cooking. Cook it at least 30 minutes as the tofu knots can be hard inside.

Ingredients:
300-350g pork belly
80-100g bean curd knots, soak in warm water for at least 30 minutes
2 pieces fermented bean curd
1 tablespoon oil
1 piece cinnamon stick
1 spring onion
3 star anice
3-4 slices ginger
