A travel documentary produced by the Van Beuren Corporation in 1936 as part of the World on Parade series.
Our guide comes to Stockholm via the sea on a foggy morning. In a poetic way he present the city while we visit many familiar sites. The canal, a view over the city, Kungsgatan and the city hall. After that we visit the old town and the Gröna Lund amusement park. Many of these locations looks very much like it does today, so it still serves a purpose for the curious tourist.

This is an artistic interpretation of the original footage and is by no means intended to replace the original film and its historical value. The color is NOT historically accurate and it is added for ambiance.
