Depends. If you approach the Yamaha from the perspective of a cool 150cc bike, you might find it less comfortable than you're comfortable with. The suspension's very good but it's stiff enough for you to feel it, for example. The riding position puts strain on your wrists too. Youngsters should be able to manage it, but do you want to is the question you have to answer. Pillions will also find it okay for short trips... but the R15 manages pillions, rather than coddles them. From this perspective, lots of more comfortable options are available. But if you understand that the sportsbike format trades comfort for feel, feedback and precision, then the R15 is a reasonably comfortable sportsbike to ride. The old models of the KTM PCs, for example, were even more committed and even less comfortable than this.
