Fridays are for FUN - the perfect time to share this recent performance of Fun In Just One Lifetime - a favorite of both singers and audiences. Composed and arranged by the legendary Joe Liles, this number is just one of hundreds of original songs featuring the ringing a cappella harmonies that are the hallmark of the barbershop art form. Giving was something that Joe did generously, particularly when it came to his time and talent. He composed, arranged and wrote the lyrics for “Fun in Just One Lifetime,” in 1981 in partnership with Frank Marzocco. The San Diego Chorus was one of many musical organizations that Joe gifted this delightful arrangement to.

The San Diego Chorus (SDC) is fresh off a second place victory in their annual Region 21 Contest which includes choruses from Southern California, New Mexico, Arizona and Hawaii. For over 70 years, the two-time international Champion San Diego Chorus has been the home of a talented group of women who sing four-part a cappella harmony arranged in the barbershop style. The nonprofit organization is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International.

Founded in 1951, the San Diego Chorus of Sweet Adelines International is a highly trained and talented group of women who sing four-part a cappella harmony arranged in the barbershop style.
