In this video we will visit Devghali beach in Kasheli, Ratnagiri. Name Devghali is basically combination of two Marathi words, Dev and Ghal, Dev in this case is Lord Sun and Ghal means cave, as you can see that structure in the video. Here a very ancient and famous Lord Sun statue was found hence it is named Devghali beach. Devghali beach is around 40kms from main Ratnagiri city, public transport is limited hence better to take your own vehicle here. In the previous video we saw Kanakaditya Temple, the lord Sun statue that resides in this temple was found thousand years ago here at Devghali beach. Earlier it was considered as holy place and people used to visit it, but considering the location tourism department has made it a tourist point. They have constructed beautiful platform with railings on the hill top from where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. Also you can walk down the path and be on the Devghali beach itself. The water is very much transparent and in the evening looks a bit green. As you can see in the video only a certain part of beach is exposed for human access. Devghali beach is gaining popularity day by day and that made us go there and it didn't disappoint us at all, it is very beautiful and divine. If you are in and around Ratnagiri please visit this amazing place.
