Human Rights Day is observed every year on December 10– the day on which the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) in 1948.
In respecting and celebrating this day, the forum of “Rights to Correct the Wrongs” highlights the importance of legal tax human rights and facts of human rights persecutions in Taiwan.
The Theme of 2021 Human Rights Day is “Equality” and Article 1 of the UDHR – “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.” Every world citizens understand their human rights are given by Nature. We need to stand up for our own rights and those of others. We can take action in our own daily lives, to uphold the rights that protect us all and thereby promote the kinship of all human beings.

“What you need to know about 1219"
On July 13, 2007, the Supreme Court found Tai Ji Men not guilty of fraud, tax evasion or violation of tax codes. Tai Ji Men’s shifu and dizi who were illegally detained also received national compensation for wrongful imprisonment. Yet the Taxation Bureau continued to issue unjustified tax bills to Tai Ji Men and later even transferred the case to the Administrative Enforcement Agency. Tai Ji Men’s land and assets have been illegally seized and auctioned.
