Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a common condition that occurs when a blood clot forms in a vein, usually in the leg. Ultrasound and color Doppler ultrasound are commonly used imaging modalities to diagnose DVT. In this ultrasound and color Doppler video we will discuss the ultrasound and color Doppler ultrasound imaging perspectives in a case of mildly hyperechoic thrombus in femoral and popliteal veins in a young adult. We will also briefly discuss the management of this condition.
