"The flagship model of the Tippin line", Bill Tippin's 14-fret Crescendo is the perfect blend of the playability and balance of an OM with the richer, fatter tone 12-fret 000s are known for. The tone achieved from the combination of bearclaw Sitka spruce and Cuban mahogany is pleasing, with a strong bass, clear and crisp mids, and sweet trebles over top. This is a versatile guitar that is well-suited to myriad playing styles, and an excellent guitar for the studio and for vocal accompaniment. Bill's finishing touches are distinct yet restrained, with maple for the binding and purfling, just a little abalone accent on the first fret, and the Tippin logo on the 12th fret.
