As one of the best walks in Gold Coast Hinterland, we spent the day doing the Toolona Creek Circuit in Lamington National Park and filmed this entire video on our new iPhone 13 Pro Max. This is an unbelievable hike everyone should do because it is so beautiful. It's no wonder Lamington National Park is part of the largest sub-tropical rainforest in the world! And for that matter, it's the oldest sub-tropical rainforest in the world too!
This Lamington National Park hike takes you to some of the best waterfalls in Queensland before you climb up through the ancient rainforest and walk along the Border Track which separates NSW and QLD.
When you get to the Toolona Lookout, you'll be able to see all the way to Byron Bay!
Then you'll wind down through the incredible Antarctic Beech Forest with trees around 2500-3000 years old from the Gondwana era. It is absolutely amazing and a must see!
The Toolona Creek Circuit took us 6h30m to complete with three short stops included.
In this video, come along with us and see how beautiful this Gold Coast walk truely is! We'll show you the famous waterfalls such as Elabana Falls, Chalahn Falls, and the absolutely incredible Gwongurai Falls as well as Toolona Falls.
