Brixton marks the finale of the final Suede Autofiction tour, one week that wasn't originally supposed to happen anyway so I'm grateful for this end of year blast of joy in the cold, dreich days of December. This was the last of three shows at the Electric Brixton.
The love for and focus on Autofiction continues on the tour, something I'd not heard since March as naturally all UK and European shows since the summer have been shorter, hits-laden festival sets. I have done pretty good in focusing on filming Autofiction songs because we may not get them again at next summer's festival or MSP co-headline shows or even in future. Gosh.
But as there were no new Autofiction songs tonight, I filmed some other rare gems. Sleeping Pills - I love it when Brett drops his mic and we in the crowd sing much of the verse instead for him. This is what Suede shows are like - coming together as one for our love of Suede.
P.S. I ran out of memory so I didn't get the last minute or so of the song. Oops.
