The Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute is delighted to announce the inaugural annual Sir R. G. Bhandarkar Memorial Award. The award aims to celebrate outstanding contributions to the field of Indology.
It is our pleasure to share that the first awardee of the Sir R. G. Bhandarkar Memorial Award is none other than Dr. G. B. Deglurkar for his invaluable contributions to the field.
The award will be conferred in a formal ceremony on September 24, 2021, and in the august presence of Shree. Nitin Gadkari and Shiv Shahir Babasaheb Purandare.
