Kyle Ricke was found guilty of first-degree murder after short jury deliberations Thursday. He shot and killed Algona Police Officer Kevin Cram last September.
Ricke will spend the rest of his life in prison, without ever having a chance at parole. He will be formally sentenced to that punishment in August.
