Motion sensor
A motion detector is an electrical device that utilizes a sensor to detect nearby motion. Such a device is often integrated as a component of a system that automatically performs a task (light on) or alerts a user of motion in an area.
It is usually installed in pedestrian areas with little traffic. The advantage of this type of device is that it will not turn ON the light if no one is nearby; to avoid energy wasting.
It is coupled to a two-way switch to allow the lamp to operate when the detector is not working.
