[Voice Over] If equipped, your digital rearview mirror gives you an unobstructed, high definition, wide view of what’s behind your vehicle… in any gear… at any speed. It comes in handy when you have passengers in the back seat – or cargo in the pickup bed – that might obstruct the view of a conventional mirror.
To activate the digital mirror, pull the On/Off Control back toward you.
[Text on Screen]: If equipeed, a left/right pan option may also be displayed.
[Voice Over] The Menu button gives you access to brightness and tilt.
Use the left and right buttons to scroll through options. To return to regular, auto-dimming mode, push the On/Off Control on the bottom of the mirror forward.
The available Tow Mode gives you the option to mount an auxiliary camera on the rear of your trailer, for a clear view of what’s behind it. You can use the control buttons on the mirror to choose from three available viewing modes:
- Mirror mode, for regular auto-dimming
- Vehicle Mode – for a full screen rear view using the vehicle-mounted camera
- Or, Tow Mode, for a full-screen view behind the trailer.
Keep in mind, the digital rear-view mirror is less effective when driving at night, or in low light conditions.
