The Process:
Learning this song took multiple months of hard practice and creation of early demos. We decided to recreate the backing track using a combination of tabs, references to performances, and intense listening. Through this, we learned a lot of new things along the way in regards to audio production.

We wanted to ensure the sound was on par with or better than the original, and as always I recommend good headphones or speakers for listening.

For this song I purchased and used an Ibanez Jem Junior, a Marshall DSL40, the Neural DSP Soldano SLO-100X and a slew of other plugins. The clean tone was created by a Marshall DSL40 ran through a Marshall VS412 4 x 12 cab. We miced the cab with two SM57s using the Fredman technique. The drums were created using multiple Superior Drummer 3 libraries and external samples. The Bass was recorded using a Squire Jaguar Bass through the Ampeg SVT-VR Classic plugin. Keys were provided by the IKM Hammond B-3X.

All in all, this was a large project that took many months of work. We are very pleased with the result and hope you enjoy the fruits of our labor.
