The purpose of the Landed Costs Addition is to allow companies to accurately reflect the total expected cost of purchasing items by including costs associated with importing the goods, such as freight and duty costs. Expected costs are created per item and are inherited by purchase orders for that item. When the purchase order is received, the expected item costs are posted at the same time. The Expected Cost Worksheet allows users to quickly create purchase invoices for the associated import costs by purchase order and container no.
