Happy Tartan Day to all my pals in the States🎉.
For those who don't know, on March 20, 1998, the United States Senate passed Resolution 155, designating April 6th of each year as National Tartan Day. The day recognises Scottish Americans and their achievements and contributions to the United States🏆
In NYC they honour Scottish heritage with bagpipes, kilts, and a whole lot of tartan! From traditional ceilidh dances to whisky tastings, the parade steps off at 2:00 p.m. at West 44th Street and marches up 6th Avenue to 55th Street.
Who are you looking forward to spotting👋 in the parade lineup?
