British interior minister Amber Rudd says police have identified more than 200 witnesses and are examining more than 240 pieces of evidence in the investigation into a nerve agent attack on a Russian ex-spy and his daughter.
British officials on Saturday confirmed a widening investigation into the nerve agent attack on a Russian ex-spy and his daughter.
Former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia remain in critical but stable condition... almost a week after being found unconscious on a bench in the southern city of Salisbury.
Interior Minister Amber Rudd called it a serious and substantial investigation.

"There are over 250 counter-terrorism police from eight of our 11 counter-terrorism units involved, there's over 200 witnesses invovled and there's over 240 pieces of evidence."
Her comments came as military vehicles and troops in protective suits and gas masks worked the scene on Saturday.
Officials even removed ambulances and police cars used in the initial response.
This after a police officer involved in the early response to the attack became sick.
Skripal was accused in the past by Moscow of betraying dozens of spies to British intelligence, and jailed before being later released in a spy swap involving the U.S.
Many in British media and politics have speculated that Russia may have been behind the attack.
The Kremlin has denied any involvement in the incident, while Rudd cautioned against making any accusations, saying police would be given all the resources they needed to conduct and finish the investigation.
