A US Air Force Boeing 737 with accident investigators on board
made several passes on Friday (3/5) over the site where a similar
plane crashed in Croatia last month, killing US Commerce
Secretary Ron Brown and a number of American company executives.
The plane, which flew from Ramstein in Germany to Dubrovnik,
traced the path of Brown's ill-fated flight early last month
to Croatia with the party of businessmen.
Brown's plane crashed into Mount St. Ivan while approaching
Cilipi Airport, near Dubrovnik, in bad weather. All 27 people
on board were killed.

US Air Force spokesman, Captain Mike Phole, SOT: The aircraft
carrying Secretary Brown was one of two of its type configured
for passenger airlift. This is the other one... As you saw, the
aircarft made several approaches and flew along exact
flightpath (as Ron Brown's plane) to record any inflight
anomalies. We will take the information to Rammstein (Air Base
in Germany).
