Oxygen, you can't live without it, but it can spoil your finished beer if you're not careful. Let's talk about a simple method to eliminate oxygen from the dry hopping step with the help of a couple magnets and a hop filter.
Side note, reducing oxidation is most critical once fermentation has finished. Dry hopping during active fermentation (like in hazy IPA's/NEIPA's) can be done without risk of oxidation due to the blanket of CO2 on top of the beer. However, it doesn't hurt to use this method during that time as well, to further reduce the risk of oxidation.
PRO TIP: Use stronger magnets on the top side of the lid that don't need to be food safe since they won't be touching the beer. I personally use magnets harvested from old broken hard drives.
