General information:

The one-way ANOVA is a parametric statistical method that is used when you have one indepedent variable (= group variable) and one dependent variable. This test is used to assess whether the means of at least three groups are different. The dependent variable needs to be on the interval or ratio scale.


For example:
===========
I have three groups. Each group has a different degree. The first group has no degree, the second has a Bachelor's degree and the third group has a Master's degree.
I want to test the mean income for differences across the three groups using the one-way ANOVA.

The anova_test()-function of the rstatix-package in R can be used to reach that goal. I'll also show how to interpret the results from the one-way ANOVA briefly and what should be done afterwards.
