Shot the day before quarantine, two friends who aren't chefs attempt to make one final last glorious meal with friends, cooking from a collection of extremely rare and funky Italian cardboard cookbooks called "In Bocca".

Bringing back the absolute best ingredients from NYC finest specialty shops to their industrial Brooklyn kitchen, these two friends discover that these books hold so much more than just amazing recipes, but the key to their friendship and discovering their lost past.

This film is up for two Taste Awards and has won a handful of culture-centric film festivals around the world. It was made by Roberto Serrini, and edited during the first weeks of the pandemic when Italy was getting hit the hardest. The film then became a vehicle to bring awareness to Italy's dire situation, and raise funds for local and global food banks. Since it's release it has been seen by thousands, connected millions, and helped who it could in a great time of need. It is by far the most important project these two friends unknowingly dedicated themselves to, and they are extremely thankful for the experience.

I really hope you enjoy this little documentary. These cookbooks have always captivated me and my friends, and we had a really wonderful time shooting this and editing it together. It’s tragic how hard Italy was hit with this devastating virus, and we hope they recover quickly.
