This video is about Temporary Protected Status (TPS). We are explaining what is TPS and specifically covering the requirements for Ukrainians.
U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced the designation of Ukraine for TPS due to the ongoing armed conflict. Only Ukrainian have been present in the U.S. as of March 1st, 2022. Anyone who arrives after this date will not be eligible.
Application for TPS is very similar to DACA applications. Form I-821 and I-765 is filed. Applicants must not be inadmissible to be eligible for TPS. As of the date of this video, the designation for Ukraine for TPS eligibility is not officially published on Federal Register. Applications can not be filed until official publication is made.
