As you know we have had a revolution happen THAT NEEDS TO BE TALKED ABOUT.

I’m making this video in attempt to help people understand systematic racism and to create a space where we can openly talk and learn about what’s been happening for years and what we can do to help. Some things I discuss in the video is white privilege, how unaware I was with the severity of racism in today’s society, why we say #BLACKLIVESMATTER , ways we can educate ourselves, what we can do to help, why there is police brutality and so on....
I still have so much to learn but the first step is to acknowledge there is a problem and continually speak out and advocate against people and systems that enable and perpetuate racism till all lives are treated equally.

My heart is devastated over what has become of the world we live in. I can’t believe that racism is STILL so prevalent in today’s society. It is absolutely disgusting that so many innocent lives have been taken just because of the colour of the skin you are born with. I can’t even begin to imagine what it would be like to live each day knowing I was negatively being profiled and consciously having to worry about my rights and how I will be treated. I’m not black but I see you , I hear you , I mourn with you and I stand with you. Our lives begin to end the moment we stay silent about the things that matter. I am distraught and more then anything filled with grief over the amount of hate in our society. The immense lack of compassion and empathy shocks me to my core. How can people treat one another so horrifically. Our world would single handily be a better place if people treated others how they would want to be treated. We are all human. We all have a soul we all have a story. I pray for the day our society doesn’t define us by our skin colour but by the character and actions of a person. I pray for humanity to not pass judgement but to treat every moment in life with Love, Peace , Kindness, Empathy and Unity. I will continue to educate, discuss and research how I can contribute to end racism and all I can hope for is that everyone does the same. Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.

Ways we can help:
Not all cops are bad. There are some wonderful cops out there that protect and help everyone in their community. With that being said there are still a lot of racist cops out there that believe in police brutality. The issue at hand is the screening process to become a police officer is far too simple and there are not enough tests done.

This petition would require for officers to be screened for racial bias the physiological disorders. And it would require every officer to have a re-evaluation every 6 months to a year
