Seeds need to stay damp in order to germinate. For this reason, we keep the lid on to keep a nice humid environment surrounding the seeds until they sprout.

In this video, it is time to take the lid off the Texas Early Grano Onions and lower the light source so it is close to the seedlings. A light source close to seedlings encourages them to grow strong rather than long and spindly.
