7 years ago Björk made a history performing the world’s first ever 360 and virtual reality live stream. It was part of a collaboration between Björk and production team Dentsu Lab Tokyo, and was running as part of the Björk Digital exhibition in Tokyo in 2016.
The performance was live streamed from the Mirakan (the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation) in Tokyo. Björk was wearing a special ‘Rottlace’ mask, created using Stratasys 3D printing technology and designed by Professor Neri Oxman of MIT Media Lab and the Mediated Matter Group.
