It's been a while since I have done Queen, and long overdue, so I'll give my history with the band again. I grew up with Queen's Greatest Hits II, along with best of compilations from Def Leppard, Genesis, Dire Straits etc., as the soundtrack to long car journeys. Queen probably being played the most. Although my favourites are Headlong and It's A Hard Life, and I hope to cover both soon, I feel this track has been well overdue for a cover. And if you were like me, where you initially only knew the Greatest Hits II version, I'm sure you were equally blown away when you discovered the album version was different. Lots and lots of great guitar parts from the King of melodic playing and bending vibrato, Brian May. I don't think I'll ever get the hang of his vibrato and this song really shredded my calluses on gauge 9 strings, although I think that's because I was getting used to the 8's on my Jackson. Anyway, really fun to play and learn!

My headphones are purposely like that so the cable stays out the way.
I have a Patreon where I upload my notation notes for all my new covers and I am going through my old ones too. But I also provide custom notation and video lessons content there or at my bwmguitarlessons@gmail.com address. Please get in touch if you want help playing the music you love. [ Ссылка ]
