This is Claire and Asher, who have been nominated in the Rescue Dog Hero category. When Asher came to the Medical Detection Dogs charity, he wasn't the dog he is now. After Claire Guest and the charity took him in, Asher began to flourish and became a Bio Detection Dog, using his nose to detect human disease. Asher is always keen to work and was the dog who identified to researchers that COVID-19 had a distinct odour. This is the story of Asher, who continues to save thousands of lives.
