Skyrim Anniversary Edition - CAREFUL! Upon meeting the two Skaal villagers discussing the disappearance of the village blacksmith, if the Dragonborn interrupts their conversation by talking to either one of them, it will stop their conversation and they will not speak again, thus making it impossible to get the miscellaneous objective and making the quest unplayable. Even if the Dragonborn tries to talk to Deor afterward, it will be impossible to interact with him.

A New Source of Stalhrim is a quest given to the Dragonborn by Deor Woodcutter, in the Skaal Village. The Thalmor have kidnapped the Skaal village blacksmith, known as Baldor Iron-Shaper, and want him to reveal how to forge weapons from Stalhrim.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition is a 2021 remastered version of the 2011 game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the fifth instalment of The Elder Scrolls series. It will be released for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on November 11, 2021. The Anniversary Edition contains a copy of the Special Edition, as well as the expansions Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn. The Anniversary Edition also includes 74 Creation Club mods, all 48 currently available ones plus 26 new, unreleased ones, adding up to a total of around 500 new gameplay elements for Skyrim.

Unlike Special Edition, the Anniversary Edition will not be offered as a free upgrade to any existing players. However, current owners of the Special Edition on all platforms will receive "three free pieces of Creation Club content: Fishing, Survival Mode and even new quests with Saints and Seducers." Additionally, current owners of the Special Edition on the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 will receive a free upgrade to an "enhanced version" of the Anniversary needed on November 11, 2021.
