An air taxi ride in Singapore could cost the same as taxis plying the road by the end of the decade. A German manufacturer is displaying its commercial model in Singapore for the first time, in a bid to raise awareness on these urban air mobility services ahead of its launch in 2024. The aircraft is on display at the ITE College Central until August 2023. Volocopter estimates that by 2030, its urban air mobility services in Singapore could generate $4.18 billion and create up to 1,300 jobs.
