There are many aspects to fitting your mule saddle comfortably, but more importantly correctly. The last thing we want when riding a mule is a trip to the emergency room. Everything needs to be adjusted to fit your mule correctly and comfortably.
In this video, Steve Edwards personally helps mule riders fit the saddle best for their mules. You can see Steve adding more holes to the back cinch so that it fits the mule better.
In addition, Steve also demonstrates how to properly store his saddles. Twist the stirrups clockwise and tie it to the back of the saddle. Doing this will allow your stirrups to face forward after untying so they are ready for riding.
