Part 1/2 of a requested backbend tutorial (Part 2: [ Ссылка ]). It's got some theory and 10 exercises for a beautiful backbend, and it can be used by everyone from those doing contortion to anyone who would just like to increase their flexibility a bit. You don't have to like or do all the stretches, but if you think that your progress has stagnated, it can be a very good idea to switch to some new exercises, at least temorarily.
Disclaimer: I'm not a trainer and what I will bring up in the video is what I've learnt from my own practice alongside with what I've heard and seen on the topic. I'm not saying that you don't have to agree with me on everything.

Some can be a bit strength demanding, such as the snake stretch or camel II, but not to the extreme. Trying is the best way to find out if something is suitable for you or not!
