In this video I test a Sylomer drum platform that I designed and built for use in my Melbourne apartment (which seemed to work for 2 years, but I was never able to test it out!). Now I finally got the opportunity to put a microphone in the room below the kit, you will be able to see the isolation provided by the platform as I test 3 scenarios:
1. On the carpet
2. On the foam mat
3. On the platform
