Sunny “Dr. Sunny” Fridge is a coach, speaker, and trainer with the John Maxwell Team. She is certified to facilitate, speak, train and coach clients in the areas of communication, leadership, professional skills and personal growth. Trained and mentored by John Maxwell and mentors of his world-class faculty, Dr. Sunny is equipped with the tools, resources and experience to help leaders develop leaders in business, organizations and groups.
She has been a Toastmaster since 2015 and earned her Distinguished Toastmasters designation in 2019. She is the immediate past president of Central Mississippi Advancing Toastmasters and was the Sergeant at Arms for Competitive Communicators Online Club. Like many of you, her club leadership experience was tested when the coronavirus pandemic impacted our daily lives. Life as we knew it became known as “the new normal.” Like most organizations, Toastmasters clubs were no longer able to meet in person and transitioned to meeting online to protect the safety and well-being of members. Thanks to great leadership, clubs are able to continue the Toastmasters mission to provide members a safe and supportive environment to become better communicators, public speakers and leaders. When it comes to leadership, you will often find the toughest person to lead is always yourself. Grab a pen and paper and get ready to learn some keys to self-leadership success!
