Dongsheng Shenzhou Aolai State has a Huaguo Mountain and a stone on the top of the mountain, giving birth to a monkey. The stone monkey seeks a teacher and learns art, and is named Sun Wukong. He learns seventy-two changes, and one can go for a thousand miles. He stole the Dinghaishen needle, turned it into a wishful gold hoop, and went to Yincao Difu to cancel the name of the monkey from the life and death book. The Jade Emperor's two tactics ended in failure, and the Jade Emperor was helpless. He invited the Buddha to come, and then pressed Sun Wukong under the Wuxing Mountain. Rulai sent Guanyin Bodhisattva to the East to find a sutra, and the Xitian to get sutras and persuade all beings. Avalokitesvara Chen Xuanzhuang went to Xitian to seek the truth. Tang Sanzang traveled westward and rescued Wu Wukong on Wuxing Mountain. The mentor and apprentice traveled westwards and took down the white dragon in Yingchoujian. In Gao Laozhuang, the Eight Pigs of Fu were taken away; in Liusha River, Sha Wujing was taken away again. The four mentors and apprentices trekked up the mountain and waded in the water, and went west to seek sutras. On the way, the four mentors and apprentices rid the demon and demons, and experienced all kinds of difficulties and obstacles. Finally, they came to the Holy Land of Lingshan, seeking the true scriptures, and returned to their homeland. Tang Sanzang and others returned the Buddhist scriptures to Chang'an, the capital of Tang Dynasty, and returned to Lingshan. Sanzang was named as a monk of merit and virtue, Wukong was named as a battle to defeat the Buddha, the Eight Commandments were sealed as messengers of the Jingtan altar, the sand monk was sealed as the golden body of the Luohan, and the white dragon Majia was promoted to the eight heavenly dragons.
