A face-off has now erupted between the BJP and the TMC in the state of West Bengal. BJP has now levelled allegations against the ruling TMC, stating that rigging of polls was witnessed in 99% of the voting booths. The allegations are levelled in connection with the civic body polls. BJP has now demanded fresh civic body polls. In the wake of this face-off, BJP has also called for a 12 hour Bandh in the state of West Bengal. However, the Mamata Banerjee led government has denied shutting down any shops or schools because of the demands made by the BJP.
