This video is produced for Urban Governance and Infrastructure Improvement (sector) Project of LGED with the financial assistance of GIZ under GUG program on behalf of Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
This video is about a success case on how the Mayor of Jhalokathi municipality ensured nonstop water supply to the citizen who had been facing endless crisis for drinking water since its establishment as municipality. As a result, the sentiment of the citizen rose against the municipal authority. Amidst this condition, the Mayor took creative initiative through improving infrastructure and strengthening of water management system. Thus crisis of safe water among the citizen significantly reduced and finally non-stop water supply was ensured. Now the beneficiaries are happy and spontaneously use to express their satisfaction.

Currently dissemination of this success example to other municipalities is going on through horizontal learning program aiming for replication and creation of new good practices by themselves.
