What’s going on guys and welcome back to the channel! Considering how many of these there are out there, here’s today’s start question: what was the last/best terrain coaster you’ve ridden? And for those of you that don’t know what this means, terrain coasters do what their name implies and use the terrain to their advantage, to form elements of a layout that otherwise may have not been possible on a flat piece of land. For example, Superman Krypton Coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. In this way, we’ve seen some pretty cool coasters like that come out in past years, and of course one of them will be presented today. With a super cool custom layout over the hilly terrain of Spain, this fairly sized family thrill coaster features a 100 foot drop and speeds of up to 50 miles per hour, that has been operated by the City of Barcelona since 2008. However, it almost wasn’t constructed after issues with local people arose, and it’s story to fruition is a bit of a tough one. So what happened? And where did it come from? This is the story, of Tibidabo’s Muntanya Russa. 💪🎢
