The Michigan Strategic Fund is helping to bring new research in rare isotope beans to Michigan. The Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB) at Michigan State University will be built on campus and will help position Michigan as the lead researchers in the area of rare isotopes. The construction of the 220,160 square foot building will provide temporary construction jobs and more than 400 permanent high-tech jobs.
