In this video I share with you the migration pattern of the composting worms( Red wigglers/ Eisenia fetida) after putting in new bedding (cow manure, cardboard, newspaper) and kitchen food scraps , egg shells and used coffee grounds and how it is the easiest method of harvesting castings and separating the worms with practically no effort !
The migration method of harvesting works best in any bin in which the height of the bin is less than the length or diameter of the bin, e.g.: any rectangular crate or tray, a big circular container which is not a cylinder and can be divided into 2 virtual halves for the purpose of harvesting.
