Digital Doubles company Eisko was proud to be part of the Oscar-winning movie “I, Tonya”!
This video illustrates the 3D scanning, reconstruction and rigging of Margot Robbie's Digital Double, produced by Eisko for the ice skating sequences of the movie "I, Tonya" / "Moi, Tonya" ([ Ссылка ]).
In this I Tonya VFX breakdown 3D capture of the appearance and the expressions of the actress has been processed directly on-set in Atlanta, Georgie.
The fully rigged head model has been delivered to Eight VFX, who oversaw the movie's post-production, to replace the face of the professional ice skater by the digital double of Margot Robbie on the different VFX sequences, including the famous triple-axel jump.
