The Horne Steam Injection Heater (SIH) is an extremely rapid and highly efficient method of heating water in vented water storage vessels, boiler hot wells and for other process industries where temperature controlled hot water is required. It works by injecting tiny bubble streams of steam into cold water, transferring real and latent heat from the steam to the water. With very low noise and vibration this thermal imaging video shows the heat transfer to a 150L vented water tank.
