I will show you how to cover your die cuts with foil too! **Follow Up** I don't know if I was extremely lucky when I tried this the first time and filmed this video or what, BUT...I have had varied success with this after the fact! So, I'm inclined to think that there are different variables at play that can effect the success of this technique if you try. Possible trouble shooting or things to consider below:
1. Make sure you get a good solid coating of sticky embossing powder.
2. Make sure right after you melt the embossing powder you immediately put the foil on it and run it through your embossing machine. I wonder if it works as well when it cools off entirely.
3. Extremely warped plates or incorrect pressure seem like they might effect the end result.
4. Choose a stamp with a decent size line weight or thickness. I think if they are too thin it won't work as well but as always, trial and error.
